New regulations from China Customs: shipment must be provided with firm or corporate registration code
Dear valued Customers:

According to the China Customs announcement No.56, from June first 2018, shipment arrives at China must be provided with the firm/corporate/company registration code of shipper, consignee and notify party (when applicable).

The registration code for consignee and notify party in China will be the “Unified Social Credit Code” with 18 digits. The registration code for the overseas shipper could be the EIN (Employer Identification Number) in the U.S., Government Uniform Invoice (GUI) number in Taiwan, or any other codes that serves the purpose for business registration.
 In addition to the registration code, the telephone number for shipper, consignee and notify party (when applicable) will also be mandatory.

Please kindly provide the information mentioned above to China Airlines for the smooth Customs clearance in China.
